Watched the Clippers-Suns game and wow.........the Suns surely benefited from the Clips not having CP3. The Suns looked like a bunch of guys getting on the court for a pick up game. But I guess you would expect that when Lindsey Hunter becomes the head coach from out of the blue. Lots of unorganized scrambling for a shot or rebound and no setup whatsoever. This two game win streak may be the highlight of the year......yikes. So my understanding is that the Suns get the Lakers' first round pick if the Lakers don't make the playoffs this year, in addition to their first round draft pick. How does Sarver screw these picks up this year? Thoughts?

Someone this morning told me that the new coach was the answer and the suns could be a playoff team.

They were serious.

I failed in my attempt to rip my ears off so I wouldn't have to hear them anymore.

I didn't know you worked with Bob Sarver.

The Suns have finally made a good move........ they fired Lance Blanks today, this guy was terrible, he actually thought Michael Beasley could be a star player in the NBA ....... or maybe he meant the ABA

If you ask me, he was the least influential of the problems in the Suns' office. The decisions being made further up the chain is what is really killing this team. As I do every year, I hope they have a smart off-season. We need to use our picks wisely and pick up some solid free-agents.

I'm a Suns fan too and have been enjoying this amazing season as well. Everyone and their mother said the Suns had no chance against the Lakers (especially those bozos at all the national sports networks) yet here we are in a tied series. Imagine the celebration in downtown if the Suns manage to somehow win a championship. A guy can always dream right?

Yes, I follow the news very closely. I listen the games. I'm sure Phoenix Suns will win a game. Let see how it goes. I don't want Lakers beat Suns.

Go PHX Suns! GO!

I suppose I can make the Suns my bandwagon team. The more games in Downtown the better it is for business and development.

The big questions for this series:

1. Can Anthony Davis come back and produce big numbers?

2. Can CP3 keep his numbers going and avoid another injury?

3. Whose bench will step up more?

ESPN thinks the Suns winning the series will be disastrous for ratings, but Jazz, Clips and Suns would be a good matchup with any East team in the finals. Most likely it will be Nets or 76ers from the East and that makes a good series with whoever reps the West. As much as ESPN wants us to think that only the Lakers deserve to win it all.....there are plenty of other teams who deserve it (I'll throw the Nuggets and Bucks in that convo as well).

Anyways, if Anthony Davis isn't 100%, it will fall on LeBron and maybe Schroder to bring the Lakers to victory.

I want to believe, but decades of Suns fandom means some kind of heartbreak is bound to happen. They might've shot themselves in the foot last night by not pulling CP3 sooner and if they survive the Lakers, they don't look like a good matchup versus the Clippers.

This is the Nets' year, but I'd love if it were Suns-Bucks in the finals. Maybe get some revenge for that coin toss that cost the Suns Kareem Abdul-Jabbar?

Now you're talking. Suns/Bucks would probably tank TV ratings but I would love it, both because I think the teams match up well, and because it would finally allow me to let go (if we won) of my sports regret for the Lew Alcindor coin flip that happened long before I was born. But I agree we're probably all fooling ourselves to think it will be anyone but the Nets.

In the meantime, thankfully we wouldn't have to see the Clips until the WCF if both teams got there, but yes if we get past the Lakers they worry me the most.

Not that I can find so far. I'm sure most of the local DT venues will be filled up though

Renaissance Hotel was having rooftop watching parties for home games and parties inside the hotel for away games.
