That makes Calgary look like 2-3 mil.

Looking east from the west side is the best view of our skyline imo. Though driving west on Memorial is starting to be very impressive too with Telus Sky and the East Village rising up.

Too bad that the photo cuts out the Beltline and Eau Claire. That would have made it more like 3 - 4 million.

Best skyline view in Calgary is Crescent Heights or from SAIT (If you can get to the top of the Senator Burns Bldg it's pretty spectacular). The view from the west is pretty damn good though.

This is a cool picture. Love Toronto's skyline and the fact that it actually embraces being a big a city.

There's some interesting variety in this shot as well. What's that pre-Victorian-looking building and associated cluster just behind and to the right of Bloor-Dundas there? Part of U of T?

I think you mean Yonge and Dundas. It's the Ryerson University quad.

Not the best quality, but shows the density in South End Halifax:

Dal has a great looking campus. Regarding Southend Halifax, it's already quite good but the recent population growth bodes well for its continued improvement. Hopefully the downtown will eventually expand all the way to the MacDonald Bridge. It's a big swath of real estate but I can see it happening within a generation.
