I remember when Future Mayor was a good guy. This Skyscraperpage extended universe has jumped the shark. Turning heroes into villains. Such a shame.

I don’t agree with this. Please post pictures.

Still.

And I agree, this Skyscraper forum has definitely jumped the shark. I think the SLC forum golden years were from 2009-2012. Tmac, me, SLC Projects, Steiner, etc., those were the good years.

Well then, feel free to go back to them, fake Future Mayor.

Otherwise stop trying to troll and stir up false controversy. We have enough disagreements on here as it is.

Washington Street Apartments - Commercial Building Permit

https://citizenportal.slcgov.com/Cit...howInspection=

Address: 950 S Washington Street

The Washington Street Apartments project, which demolished three houses, has filed building permits for the 200 residential unit project.

Project Description:

Quote:
Four-story Apartment Building with 200 Micro Units (Type A & Type B Dwelling Units). Main Level includes a Laundry Room, Bike Storage, Living Room, Fully Accessible Kitchen and Unisex Restroom, and an enclosed, secure Interior Courtyard for tenant use. The proposed building will have Elevator access and will be Fully Fire Sprinklered. Project includes a Lot Consolidation for three lots.
When demo permits were filed a month ago, the project was called simply '942 Wash' which is what I put in this site map:

Project now called 'Washington Street Apartments' not '942 Wash'

The project was featured in this Fox 13 News article in March (which I had previously posted).
Fox 13 also did a tv spot on the issues with the site:

Ditto to that!!! ...And who is this recently added Faux Future Mayor? You do realize that there was a previous Future Mayor whose posts were the complete opposite from your own? Please do not continue in your nonsensical disruptive trolling. You make zero sense!

Future Mayor, I agree with you, I think links with details are much more effective than lots of photos are at getting the message across. Less clutter to interpret and the intention is more clear.

Speaking of, here is a link to an incredible project you might like: http://aaronhoyt.com/gfy.asp

Although maybe I could post just a single screenshot of the website page as a middle ground solution? What are your thoughts?

Regardless if it's not Future Mayor (and I don't think it is), I agree that it would be better to hide the photos in the spoiler tag. Especially since SSP is loading slowly more recently (there appears to be a delay when I click on every new page).

I don't think we have to link to the photos ... but adding them in the spoiler tag is probably the way to go.

I really don’t think it’s appropriate for anyone (not to mention the likelihood this person was banned previously) to have an account with a username so similar to another forum member’s username, someone who happens to be one of our most respected contributors to this forum. It is meant to troll and cause confusion. Additionally, this poser’s despicable behavior is disparaging the real Future_Mayor. How would any of you like it if this troll created an account with a username almost identical to yours, and then continued to behave poorly? You’d be pissed. We cannot allow this person to mess with the reputation of another. Everyone please report this troll. We need to get the moderators’ attention. We cannot allow this to continue.

Huh, you might want to check your internet service provider, cause I’m not having that issue at all. Neither on my phone (AT&T) or laptop (Comcast).

More likely then not, I’m gonna just keep doing what I’ve been doing. Again, everyone has their own preference, that’s just mine. If you prefer putting everything in spoiler tags, you can do that.

I think it depends how many photos you are posting. If there are more than 4-5 maybe use spoilers...But think I find opening and closing the spoiler tags more frustrating than scrolling through pictures which I actually appreciate.

Some views of downtown from the 16th floor of Liberty Sky, presumably from today:

The CCH is going to make a big impact in that second view, and you can also see the prospective Regent Street tower site in the foreground.

A little photo update of 95 State today. Sorry for the dark photos, but really enjoy seeing the glass going up on this one.
