I HOPE the Canucks win BUT I believe the Bruins will wrap it up in Game 6. Our boys just don't have that fight.

I have watched every game during this Canucks postseason run. I'm a fan. But having to see the team lose 8-1 in Game 3, and then shut out 4-0; it's looking like IF Vancouver cannot win in Game 5, Boston will most likely be celebrating their first cup since who knows when, back home. I can't see Vancouver winning in Boston (Game 6), because of their demonstration in Games 3 & 4. I'm not a bandwagon fan. But boy, am I upset that the team hasn't shown up in those games. What happened to Luongo? He was badly outplayed. His psyche is fragile as it is, and he's been shellacked 12 goals in two games. At the same time, Thomas has only let in ONE goal in 69-70 shots over two games. Not looking good.

The Canucks looked, sadly, slow when they were in Boston. I don't know if they were expecting an easy series, but this is the FINALS. My prediction is, if Vancouver doesn't win Game 5, they go on to lose this series, and the Cup in Boston - in six games. Can't see them (with their recent play) win in Boston. Not enough contributions - goal scoring wise - Raymond hasn't scored in what feels like an eternity. Higgins can't score on Thomas ONE ON ONE. Kesler hasn't been effective since the Nashville series (which seems like a LONG time ago). If Vancouver doesn't score in the first period back home tomorrow (Friday), this series will be Boston's for the taking.

I keep on hearing people say that Vancouver is the more skilled team. Well, I hate to break it to ya, guys, but Boston has some pretty good, and annoying players there too. Like Claude Julien says, they didn't come this far to just roll over. They've come to play. Has Vancouver?

To be honest. I think you may be right.

I hope I'm proven wrong, tomorrow.

I just read that no team in the entire history of the National Hockey League has been beaten as bad as the Canucks were over a two-game span in the playoffs.

So, after we lose in 6, we can at least say we broke a league record for something.

Way to go Canucks!

Not sure where you heard that.

I like to remind Leafs fans about playing Boston in 1969 (Bobby Orr era). They lost 4 straight, starting off with 10-0 and 7-0 beatings in the Boston Garden.

Not the finals, but still.

Take heart. If you're a numbers person, the home team has gone 15-2 in the last 3 years of the cup finals.

I meant to say that games 3 and 4 were the worst two-game goal differential in the history of the Stanley Cup Final.

Not going to happen. Canucks are done. Canucks and Luongo will be humiliated again tonight. Game 6 will be a mere formality. The Bruins are winning the Stanley Cup on home ice. End of story.

A team that allows itself to get beat 12-1 in games 3 and 4 (when it could have taken a strangle hold on the series) is not a team that is capable of winning the big game. When the only team that is scoring during Vancouver power plays is Boston, then you know the series is over.

This fact will become clear when the Bruins humiliate the Canucks tonight in front of a silent, dejected Rogers Arena.

All is lost.

are you sure you're on the right ssp and not ssp boston? go away bruins fan! it sounds like you are one of those bandwagoners. you jumped ship already? its not over. the series is tied. its a best of 3 now.

have faith. if you were cheering the canucks all season long through thick and thin then continue. stop ripping the team. it happens. Lets just hope tonight will be a better game and that they can show everyone that they can bounce back. Go nucks!

I know, I know. But I just can't shake this feeling of doom. This is precisely why losing 12-1 is so damaging.

Well. Considering this market has never seen the NHL - and add in the tremendous disappointments - yeah, i'm not surprised that we're a little suspicious if this team can do it (win it all). we'll see in a couple of hours. I have the chance of watching the team play in the first period. I won't see the rest of the game, though. hoping for a win tonight, to retake command of this series.
