Thanks for sharing Bond. That is sweet! It would be great for Filling in that area. We do not need large open spaces around the towers. Fill it in!! Every angle will give you a better view of the downtown core.

We could use some real height in Belltown.

And I really, really, really love that the Retail District is getting a ring of seven new towers just along/outside its boundaries currently, plus another dozen planned. It'll make that district visually feel like it's in the center of things rather than the edge. And it'll give the area more vibrancy.

Furthermore, I want the area of major highrises to expand.

And what an incredibly marketable location for a big hotel/condo tower. Like AVA, like Second & Pike...

Do not Forget everyone that new tower at 1903 5th will be the one done by Ismael Leyva. We spoke about this one months ago. He has very exciting buildings in most cases. This one would be very thin!

This Image is for reference only....NOT 1903 5th.

Agreed. Belltown also needs the police shakedown the criminal element in Belltown for safety reasons. Ship out the crime and people will come in droves. Think Queen Ann safety levels.

No Belltown is a nice neighborhood and it doesnt need the Hustle and Bustle of Downtown!!
but it does need more police
i think that taller and skinni-er buildings should be built in the 1521 area and around the four seasons..
that way more green space would be created and we would have our wish of seeing skyscrapers in Seattle
also some buildings should have a terrace with some NATURAL grass and plants to make the Emerald city seem more....Emerald..
sure this would cost more but i think Seattle has enough ppl with a wage big enough to buy some of those condos.....
and now that the height limit is no more investors can make properties "city" like in the heart of downtown
this would also reduce traffic in the morning and afternoon commute+the goverment should really do something to make getting around downtown a little faster and easier like extending the monorail at least to the Columbia Tower or advertise the buses more which seems more realistic
Done again...
why do i write so much?

Thanks for the random list of wants and needs in Seattle. I personally really want all the warehouses in Soho to have to put grass on top of their roofs. I think that would cool and really nice, since a lot of other cities do it so why can't we.

^ Finally!

Olivian: Three cores are above ground now.

Olive8: Looks like they've slowed down again after the last spurt.

Mirabella: It's above ground now. There might be two or three levels.

They might pass Olive8 if the pace keeps up.

That would be ironic since O8 started way before the Olivian was even announced.

The burning out of the sun and the end of time will have come to pass long before Olive 8 draws anywhere near completion. Seriously, watching Olive 8's "progress" is more disturbing than watching slugs mate...and considering that it's only 400'. Typical Seattle speed--yes this tower is being imbued with the local flavor all right.
