Thank you ... I think.

Regarding the Raptors, at no time in Game 2 did they look like they'd win.

That was a good knock'em down drag'em out playoff win. Thing is, I really hate to say it, but Milwaukee just looks like the better team out there. It's coming down to talent, and they've got a lot more. Game 1 was a definitive come-back win and game 2 was a blowout, while game 3 on Toronto's home court was a double-overtime nail-biter. That's not a good pattern.

I don't feel confident that the Raps will win game 4, but even if they do, I can't imagine this going past six games. I had lots of faith and expectations during the series against Philly, but I can't summon up the same emotions this series. Milwaukee moving on to the finals just seems inevitable to me.

Then again, I'm often wrong about these things. Maybe the Raps have another gear. Maybe Kawhi recovers his mojo and goes into super-charged overdrive.

I'd love to see that.

It should never have gone to overtime. I wonder if they'll start calling Antetokounmpo travels and Bucks jumping into Raptors to draw a foul.

Unlikely, but if they keep playing Norman Powell and stay out of foul trouble, the series could be tied going back to Milwaukee. Raptors were down 2-1 against Philadelphia too.

Norman Powell has really stepped up. It's great to see. Also, Milwaukee worked hard to take away Pascal Siakam's spin move the first two games, but he adjusted his game last night to become a critical component of the win.

That's smart. That's playoff basketball.

That double ot is going to kill us. Needed to close it out with the free throws at the end of the fourth. Kawhi played 52 minutes and had an awkward landing on his one dunk...

Like they say, good players often hit a wall when facing more talent than they're used to while stars learn how to adapt to what's in front of them. Siakam's proving that he's not just a good player. You can see him developing through this playoff run.

He has 1-2 games where he gets shut down but then he figures it out and we see the Siakam we're used to. He did that against the Sixers and he did it once more against the Bucks.

Powell is another who has risen to the occasion. We need 1-2 more pieces to fall in place though. Gasol needs to stay aggressive and realize when he needs to shoot instead of pass. Green and VanVleet continue to under perform although we've seen momentary glimpses of excellent play from both.

True. It's bizarre how one game can completely change things. If the Raptors had lost Game 3 it would feel next to impossible. Winning Game 3 and we're right back in it. That said, Game 4 is a must win too.

So does this feel different than in 2016 when they evened the ECF series against Cleveland 2-2 by winning games 3 and 4 at home? The Raps got absolutely destroyed by the Cavs in games 5 and 6, but somehow I can't imagine that happening when they go back to Milwaukee.

Kawhi was struggling physically tonight. Was obvious to everyone. That's a potential worry. Thankfully the bench picked up the slack and played a complete game. And my initial misgivings about Gasol are gone now. He's a big part of the reason they won these last two games.

That was the first playoff game where the entire bench showed up and carried the team. It would be nice if they could do that again but I'm not going to discount VanVleet's 10 terrible games before this one.

Home court is a massive advantage between the two best regular season teams and Milwaukee will likely come out very strong in Game 5.

The Raptors Gave Drake a Custom OVO Diamond-Encrusted Jacket Worth over $1 Million

By Sarah Murphy
Published May 22, 2019
The Toronto Raptors will seemingly spare no expense when it comes to lavishing gifts upon their global ambassador, as they've just given Drake a $1 million custom jacket.

The basketball team have upgraded Drizzy's Breaker High hoodie to a one-of-a-kind jacket lined with a jersey made from 1927 fabric sourced from Toronto's Garrison Bespoke and embellished with lab-grown, carbon-neutral diamonds in the shape of the OVO owl and the Raptors' slashed basketball logos.

As designer Michael Nguyen told the Toronto Star, Drake himself helped design the piece.

The extravagant jacket is reportedly valued at $769,000 USD, which converted into Canadian dollars, exceeds $1 million.

Drake and the Raptors have partnered on a bunch of initiatives, including OVO sponsoring the naming rights to the Raptors' practice facility, as well as the Welcome Toronto program where Drake & the Raptors donated millions to refurbish urban basketball courts and millions more to Basketball Canada.

Half the people I know can't stand him, but there is no denying his influence in the city of Toronto or how he has given back.

It's all marketing. I don't believe Drake is generous or thoughtful in a genuine way. Here's a guy who cries racism at a Vancouver casino because he has to play by the rules that everyone else has to. That tells you how much he cares about serious issues of racism. Tells you a lot about his character.
