Other Vancouver forumers get angry with me because I complain about every building having sea-foam green glass, but look at that, you can barely see Shangri-La even though its right in front of you and is the tallest building in Vancouver. These towers are urban blight. And you can see on the right side of that photo a tower being reclad in what looks to me like a shade of green, though Leftcoaster said it was actually smokey blue (I think thats what he said). Sorry to complain again, but that photo really stands out in a negative way to me.

I think it's pretty clear from the photos that these were taken in a low hazy light through a window so all the colours are muted and the photos over exposed. If you look closely you can even see buildings like the bentall centre's logos are barely visible yet in real life the logos are of course very visible and colourful.

And yes the glass that was chosen for the Canaccord reclad was a smokey blue. It looks much more smokey on cloudy days but I will agree it turned out a bit more clear/green than we had hoped in direct sunlight. Goes to show no matter how many mock-ups you do you never really know until it's up!

That's actually a remarkably diverse photo of Vancouver if we are talking about the usual sea of seafoam green shots. I really love the drop down from the Georgia skyscraper corridor to the Robson 3-storey corridor. So good

Great Vancouver shots! Vancouver House needs more love too, still my favourite highrise U/C in the entire country.

I love that Edmonton photo. It has this very timeless quality to it which evokes a sense of calm and genuine peace.

Definitely a great shot! Only thing I don't like about it is that Hotel MacDonald isn't very prominent, and it's by far the nicest building there.

Grabbed a shot of her on my walk to work this morning. Site in the foreground is for Grovesnor's "Pacific" project: http://grosvenorpacific.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/Exterior-Corner-Facade.jpg

Amazing shot. Love to look at that building but would be way too scared to live in it.

I believe it is engineered to withstand the Big One. So, you are much safer there than most other places.

What's with the 4th floor from the top that's all glass? It looks quite odd.

It's not all glass, that is plywood pictured in the image. It has since received the windows and matches all the other floors.
