I noted that view today too, p.g.

They whipped that glass on the top floor quick!

The mid rise can seem to disappear from some vantage points as it takes on the appearence of the building across the street:

Hot day, hot dawg. It's doctor recommended!!

Muni pier is a good place to beat the heat. Some of our favorite new buildings make their presence felt. Some serious heat haze action today!

So close on this side:

A little bit behind on the other, but they could probably finish this in 2-3 days judging by how fast they finished the top floor on the other side. Note use of the crane suspended basket and a cherry picker for work on the crown:

The view shows the angle of the mid rise clearly:

Here we can now see almost the full effect of the white and blue:

More great shots, Dave. It's been good to see them working on the tower glass again.

A look from 33 floors up, with the Infinity towers behind.

Nice! You're 33 floors up in an office building, but you're somewhere in the 40's on Millennium -- about 2/3's of the way up.

Someone is going to have a pretty phat pad up there -- as it had better be for $11MM or so....

Just one shot today. It doesn't really show anything new. I only post it because it's a spot I haven't shot from before:

Those are both nice shots guys. Whomever owns that balcony up there is pretty lucky, at a price yes, but fortunate nevertheless.

Some more progress on the crown. These are from today. It looks like there's some different glass for the crown, a detail I didn't notice from the ground.

I'm confused. I haven't seen any glass on the crown yet. Are you referring to something in your photos (which are excellent, by the way) or something you've seen from your office?

These guys can really fly on the glass when they want to -- the mid-rise could be finished save for the hoist area next week:

There is indeed a smidge of the crown done, but it looks to be the same color as the rest of the glass AFAICS:

I saw the little bit of glass on midrise crown today, but didn't notice it on the tower -- thanks Dave!

Whatever that diagonal glass that is above that last square floor. Perhaps it is technically just another floor rather than the crown.

Ah, I see what you're looking at. Yeah, I think that's the top floor glass behind the large balcony. I didn't notice it was a different color. I'll have to look more closely (which is tough to do from 645' below!).

Not a different color -- the panels just look smaller, resulting in a different look.

Some shots of the mid-rise from today. What's the concrete bunker that is incorporated into the low-rise?

This appears to be the garage entrance. As you may recall, the midrise goes down way deep--much deeper than the basement of the tower. It is a multi-level garage and this is how you get into it. I'm not sure what finishes may be applied to some of the concrete, but the south-facing wall may well remain unfinished because I believe it will abut the new TransBay Terminal when that is built.

I guess the question would have been better phrased as why it isn't integrated into the building and why is there a 20 foot concrete wall on the left. I suppose it is because of the Transbay plans, but it just looks odd, particularly when you're on the street. Hopefully, they will finish it up nicely so it is less of an eyesore.

Hard to say why it looks the way it does now until the building is finished. None of the rendering I've seen show its finished "look".
