Hopefully the future brings some better balance.
Okay, so it was more a natural shift than a bad municipal policy?

The only good bar is the Lazy Flamingo. Older, quieter crowd, live music almost every night, decent drink menu and a large patio. Shame it's sandwiched between to trashy clubs.

Probably both. Zealous bar owners investing to increase profit but not caring about the negative effects to the neighbourhood, which were not properly considered by the municipal officials responsible for oversight.

This project's schedule is flowing slower than Heinz French's ketchup.

It's moving slow but it's turning out better than I expected ( which still isn't great)

Can't wait to see the future skyline with this, and other taller buildings completed...

Just went by on the bus and the lobby on Main at the foot of Bella Tower looked like it was nearly finished and all lit up. I think this will be the entry for 150 Main as well until both towers are finished. I'd imagine 150 Main's move in date will be for the start of June.

Actually, I believe that is the lobby for 150 Main West exclusively and does not belong, nor will be used by Bella towers. I assume they will have their own lobby upon completion. That section actually houses the parking garage along with the pool and other amenities for 150 Main West. Now whether those amenities will end up being shared with Bella tower is still up in the air.

As far as move in dates go, people will start moving in starting this weekend and during next week. I just visited and did a walk through today. They are working hard to get people moved in and there are many units that are a few finishing touches away from being move in ready.

Drove by this morning. They had two trucks with hundreds of sheets of drywall being lifted into bella towers.
