I am in Seattle so I need to find a place to watch the game! Pretty excited to see the Flames involved in some playoff hockey!

The morning after the Kings game, at 7:00am I rode past a house. Guy was on a ladder, and I was trying to figure out what he was doing. Then I saw, he was hanging a flames flag. Dedicated. I figure his wife told him he couldn't put it up unless the Flames made the playoffs.

Hartley says Bennett's quick and gritty, built for the playoffs.

Unreal seeing an 18y/o jump in during his second ever nhl game and have that amount of an impact. Ferland's being stepping it up too. Bright future for this team. No need for a long list of first overall picks lol

I thought Bennett looked great. Hard to imagine an 18 year old playing only his second NHL game coming into a game like that, but he did well. Gaudreau and Monahan started slow but picked it up as the game went on. The Backlund/Colbourne line looked good tonight.

All in all, a good effort and good game. I think it's going to be a long series though, as tonight was a pretty evenly matched game for the most part.

The only Flames jersey I have here in St. John's is a Phaneuf jersey... I'm so conflicted. Maybe if I wear a windbreaker over it and only have the front showing? lol

I do have two car flags and a large flag for my bedroom window though.

Oh common it is a Flames Jersey, just wear it proudly. He played for you guys, not like people wearing Iginla Jersey's are covering them up.

It'll be OK (From a Leafs Fan)

Common? It's not common at all and I have the same problem- Phaneuf was the only one left back when I got my jersey in 2010. I don't see ANYBODY with one and I'm embarrassed to wear it. I see Kiprusoff and Iginla and Cammalleri but no Phaneuf. I hate it.

LOL! I'd rather have Bertuzzi to be honest- I'll be in Toronto April 29-May 14 and if the Flames are still kicking have to wonder what reception I'll get there with Phaneuf- Flames they don't care about but Phaneuf is so hated there now I might get a punch in the face.

I have a Phaneuf jersey that is in my old closet back in my parents house, never to be seen again. Was the first, and last, named jersey I have bought. Just can't afford to take a risk like that again.
