I saw my first TV spot this afternoon. It was good. The guy on the commercial looked familiar, but I couldn't place who he is.

I saw an ad too last night. If it was the same one, the person you saw was Jack Gallagher (sp?), a local celebrity. He has a recurring role on HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm

lol - we are soooo close. Filling out some loan paperwork this evening and then we'll be off to Maui for a week while the lender looks it over and starts the funding process.

we have appt set for 10/14 to sign our contract though.

will be a lot happier when this whole thing is settled and there's no turning back. My wife is still having trouble with the pet situation... we have 3 dogs and 2 cats - we'd have to let the 2 big dogs go (amstaff and a pit bull) both are really sweet but the towers says no killer breeds

for all of you out there desperately waiting for my periodic update on the pile-driving progress at the construction site, here are my latest estimates:

Footprint for Tower II: about 90% complete
Footprint for Tower I: somewhere around 50% complete. Again, TI is more dificult to get an accurate estimate from my vantage point, so my conifedence level is lower for this estimate.

They were still working at the site at 7:30pm on Friday night...

Will these be built simultaniously or will the first tower be completed before the second is started.

Don't look for them to be at the exact same point all through construction. Many trades will probably finish work in one building and then work on the other if possible.

Look for the pad to be poured at Tower II before piledriving is finished on Tower I. I may be wrong, but I don't think that they will pour the pads at the same time.
