Eight stories is very good for that area. Even though it might actually be seven. Either way, a good amount of units, and a massive improvement over the current asphalt crater.

it'd be nice if they required these developments to bury the power lines adjacent to the property

Agreed but understand that all these fees add up and reduce the amount of units that can be designated as affordable which then fuels NIMBY protests of "not enough affordable units".

Definitely not as flashy but this infill project near got up-zoned from sf-3 and should add 62 condo units where there would've been otherwise 18 single family lots aka, 36 units.

More of this please.

Crazy that this other building Alto Austin is currently under construction across the street from 7th & San Marcos below.

This area of E. 7th is seeing quite the facelift.

I don't think the car dealership is a part of this development. You can see it on the bottom left of the map from their website. I'm sure it will just be a matter of time before it is redeveloped one way or another.

Hmm you're right. I guess previously I got fooled by the map legend blocking the car dealership and my eyes kind of glazed over it.

The lane closure at Springdale/Airport intersection has been going on for several months now and it is phenomenally disruptive. Not sure what they were thinking.
