Alright, here's my little contribution to showing some love for one of my favorite buildings in the city. And yes, before anyone points it out—I know the model isn't perfect, but I think it gets the job done for a quick visual. Hope you all enjoy it!

Looks pretty good. You've captured one of the best new towers, IMO.

Thanks so much. And I completely agree, for me it's also one of the best things to come out in recent years—not just because of the design, but for the quality of the finishes and the attention to detail.

The repetition of the arch top windows is just odd... I'm trying to warm up to it but I dunno. I do love the massing, though.

Yeh love those nods to the past with those giant cleaning apparatus on those roofs.

I mean seriously talk about ruining the top, I know the thicker office towers can kinda get away with it better but jesus it looks terrible on this elegant tower....that is unless Batman has a penthouse and just landed 'The Bat' on the roof?

Isn't it erect for construction and should retract/fold up when not in use?

it's rather odd that given all there is to say about this building you focus on that.

but anyway, fyi -- bmu's are common on all tall buildings.

they'll get folded away when not in use, so relax your ocd.

Just so everyone knows, those things are now so common on the NY skyline that they are beginning to be seen in renderings and drawings, where before they weren't.

umm, wut? anyway, you're going to have the same problem with all modern towers as they all have similar bmu's.

That baroque building next door designed by McKim, Mead & White is really gorgeous. It looks like it was plucked from Rome.

New club Moss brings five stories of luxury amenities to Midtown Manhattan — if you can afford it

By Jennifer Gould
Dec. 2, 2025

Quote:
A new private club in a Midtown Manhattan skyscraper offers a range of luxury amenities, if you can pay the price.

Moss recently opened in five stories at 520 Fifth Ave., a 1,002-foot-high supertall at 43rd St. – with monthly dues of $280 to $745 on top of initiation fees of $1,500 to $3,950.

Founded by sisters Colleen and Hailey Brooks, the club features five fancy restaurant and lounge spaces led by Chef Angela Zeng, a Frenchette and Lilia alum.
Quote:
Moss’ signature restaurant, Babette, is inspired by the movie “Babette’s Feast” and will focus on New American cuisine with French and East Asian accents. Bar Babette, overlooking Fifth Avenue, will feature oysters, martinis and more.

There’s also Lil’s, a jazz piano lounge, which will offer live music over small bites and cocktails, plus a more intimate sitting room space; and Inklings, a library bar with experimental cocktails.

A two-story gym that opened Monday comes with a longevity clinic, thermal pools, a Turkish-style steam room, pilates, and a pickleball-and-half-basketball court – plus a spa, treatment rooms, yoga and personal trainers.
Quote:
Members will also have access to a game room with mahjong, backgammon and poker; a podcast studio that can also function as a DJ booth; and a vinyl listening room that can be booked for karaoke, too.

There’s also a special space for “fireside chats” and speaker programming. A top floor features four private rooms that can host “everything from private meetings to intimate dinners and celebrations,” said Hailey Brooks, who previously worked on trend forecasts.

This building is extraordinary, but Amazon's PoS next door looks very tired.
