Isn't that something that Jeep did as a promotional thing? There are other "Jurassic Park" jeeps on the internet. I assumed it was a promotional thing rather than something custom made.

A similar vantage point was posted on here by user spw1965 back when the Hyatt Place and Whitley were under construction. The view has changed quite a bit in three years.

That's a great view. You get to see the bulk of downtown without it "getting in the way" if you know what I mean. You'd still have far off views to the north. I like how the Dobie Center and UT Tower poke up from that view adding another layer to the skyline back there.

That's cool. I've actually seen that effect before one morning last year, but phone camera photo didn't turn out.

That's quite a cozy view.

That's neat a photo. The me from 10 or 20 years ago would be amazed and in disbelief. If it weren't for 301 Congress and One Congress Plaza an Austinite from the past never would guess that is Austin.

Here's a little drive in and around downtown Austin last Monday, shot from my dash camera. Pardon the rough editing.

I like the way the colorado tower looks in your video around the 4 minute mark.

The view from the Gables is pretty damn good - at least for now. If I lived there I would be spending a lot of time on my balcony checking out the view:

Man, that is a sweet view. The density back there is pretty impressive.

Cool driving videos, too, Mopacs. It gives a good look at how Austin appears in real life.
