There's a bunch of beaches on the coast of Tiny, and they are techinically public, but for the last several years, you need a permit, which might be like $150 per year. It's parking on the shoulder for most while some have actual lots. Then there are a handful you pay by the hour which has shoulder and parking lot parking. Some are small while some are big like Balm Beach and Jackson Beach. Needless to say, the smaller, less used ones have the better sand. Any home owner in Tiny can get the permit for free of course.
Most of the small beaches, which make up most of the total public beaches, actually only have like 60 to 100 feet of width, then it's private on either side.
The last two years I've covered upwards of 15 beaches between Allenwood in Wasaga to Thunder Beach (two public spots) in Tiny, all on the same coast. Most of those beaches are not marked, you just stumble upon them. Basically you drive Tiny Beaches Rd or River Rd in Wasaga (same thing) and just be on the lookout.
Driving on that road with all the impressive cottages makes you wish you were rich. Though I must say, even as nice as the cottages are, most are really close to each other. It's basically like leaving the city just to be close to your neighbour again, but at the beach. The more north you go the more spread out they are though.
