Connecting CCW to CPT is exactly the plan. That's why the Inkster connection is rotated the way it is. And then Inkster goes westward and connects to Hwy 6.

If they build that inner ring road as shown in the CBC figure, there is no way Winnipeg doesn't end up with giant unaffordable suburban sprawl in Wilkes South. Show me a council who could build that road and then turn down a giant field of SFR sprawl with a cheap hit of short-term tax revenues and the political pressure of a bunch of skeezy developers.

LOL..Really? I guess your years in the restaurant Biz will prove your fortune telling skills being accurate in a few years? It is crazy busy whenever I go or drive by many of their locations, except for perhaps St Annes. All their newer locations are doing well.

Sals will be around for a very long time. I have no idea why anyone would think they are in danger of going out of business.

That is essentially the exact alignment they are planning.

Sals seems like one of those local businesses that will get run into the ground like Kub bread. My extensive experience of never going to Sals or working in the restaurant biz has led me to this outcome lol

I don't understand the appeal of Salisbury House. You can go there and get a burger and fries that is half as good as what you can get at McDonald's or Burger King, but for double the price.

I don't know that taking 15 minutes to cook up a mediocre burger and fries is really to their credit, Vike

McDonalds is edible at best, and goes through your body too fast. Unhealthy.

I can't even digest BK Whoppers anymore. I sometimes wonder if it is real beef, or road kill.

I went to Sals for the first time in probably 6 or 7 years years this past weekend for lunch.

The food is what it is. Average'ish diner food - but certainly a solid step up from fast food.

The service we had tho was unbelievable. I haven't had a server that good anywhere in years.

Quality varies by location. Osborne and Southdale both really suck. The one way down Pembina is really good.

A&W on Marion is incredible. Deacon's Corner sucks.

Wendy's in Southdale is terrible. Mind you, so is the KFC.

Cool, I mosty stick to downtown and the nearby areas so I don’t get a lot of exposure to the outer areas fast food offerings, but then again I eat at those type of places less than ince a month nowadays due to cost and just knowing that the food is barely real.

Sals is pretty bland but they grind their own hamburger, bake their own buns, and shred their own hash browns. It's not freezer food. I don't really care, but some people do.
