Speaking to the folks over at Place Bathurst Mall. They tell me the have secured 3 new stores for the mall. I assume one is Ardene which we know about. The other is going into the former Bizou as work started there today and the third I am not sure. ...the mall for obvious reasons would not give the wwwww

It will be nice to see some new stores and some changes in the mall, the Bizou place is pretty small so it limits the possibilities on who it will be. I could see it as a customer service point with no or low inventory.

Steel has freshly arrived on the side of the new Nissan dealership in Bathurst and pipes and more are laying on the site of the Vanier gas station project.

Lots of other projects have had materials delivered to sites, finally stuff will start to go up!

I just went to look at where this was, couldn’t find but but, how was it ever allowed for there to be TWO Irving’s located on the same corner? (St. Peter & Vanier) When Irving bought the Ultramar locations, weren’t some of them not allowed to become Irvings because of competition laws?

No clue but funniest thing is that sometimes they have different fuel prices. Salvatore is going to be right next to the the Irving with the KFC.

The port of Belledune in its green energy plan will build a hydrogen plant at the port in Belledune and will be able to export it via boat or to other industries that could be attracted by that clean energy, plan is expected to be running in 2027.

Another project for Belledune, hopefully this one will happen, the fact that the port looks to be behind it is a bit more encouraging than the others.

I was driving between Bathurst and Miramichi yesterday and stopped at 'La Bonne Route' truck stop/gas station and saw some development accross the road from it being the road that leads to Laviette , a large parcel of land was clear cut and has a log style sign at the entrance , i looked up SNB but that partial is i believe gov.nb unless it has not been recorded yet as being sold ..that development looks big enough to handle rv's or a future road side park which it seems unlikely since there is already one off the main highway directly across from the 'Bonne Route' but that road side picnic site has not been maintained it seems for well over 20yrs ! Any guess ??

A source tells us that Le Greenhouse lounge will apparently be opening at Place Bathurst Mall in the near future. Le greenhouse currently operates at the marina in Bathurst. If this pans out which it sounds like it may, it will be the third new opening for place bathurst mall.

No idea, there is no population really in that area so it will most likely be a service thing of some sort.
