The comment was in direct response to the question of the East Village Hilton, for which progress has remained at a complete standstill from precisely the time of the fiasco in the public restrooms. You can understand their stance. The Hilton brand does not normally need to manage illegal activity in restrooms, and they know that if they are put in place in advance of a resolution to the vagrant issues in that area of the city, the problem will become theirs. I'm sure they'll start moving forward at some point, but Hilton will not be in the immediate next phases of East Village.
