Reminiscent of that big structure that was at the east end of False Creek for the coal burner to store natural gas.

Good use of that space! I love how UBC operates, they want something and do it. It's such a development-forward jurisdiction. Such a contrast to cities lol and the campus is all the better for it, IMO, I know some people may not agree with that. I just love how projects are proposed and done in a relatively timely manner, it just happens. They've had so many big projects in the last 10 years, and the residential neughbourhood growth has been immense
