Club sandwiches and variants on them I suppose. Various burgers. Smoked meat maybe. And more recently poutine.

If we're talking about middle of the road "basic" place.

Oh, I almost forgot the worst half km of road in the city!

https://www.google.ca/maps/@50.9955695,-...3W-Wge3v6hduw!2e0!7i13312!8i6656!6m1!1e1

I'm not sure if there exists another place with as many SALE signs, inflatable gorillas and inflatable flailing arm men. Seriously, follow streetview for a few clicks.

I was trying to find a good spot on Gaetz Avenue in Dead Deer to compare and found this Old Dutch potato chip truck cock blocking the Google car for blocks on end.

Rare post from the land of SSP retirement.

This is the worst street in Canada. I give you 135A Street, Surrey (Walley), BC.
A very sad place, just around the corner from where I used to work. Somehow much worse than the DTES...perhaps because it is out in the suburbs?

use google street view and take a walk down the street.

Here's a different challenge. Do you know any really shady, dangerous buildings or places in your city?

Here's the Hell's Angels compound just outside an industrial park north of Red Deer.

Molson!!!!! YOU'RE BACK!!!!

We've missed you!

Here's a Clockzilla you probably missed:

And a new monster from Calgary's NE

Bonus:

On a serious note that street in Surrey is definitely the worst I've seen in Canada except maybe Vancouver's East side and Gas Town. I remember crossing the street one time into Gas town and the buildings instantly turned grimier and broken down. The vibe changed from one side of the street to the other. Nothing comparable to those areas anywhere else I know. Parts of Vegas off the strip looked similarly bleak but not with as many homeless people scattered about.

MIGS is still here, just not here, here.

I'd give anyone 5th Avenue in North Central Regina as depressing and ugly and dangerous. The poverty in Regina in places is atrocious.

Here's a bizarre addition to a house/apt on Queen street east. It's a mirror copy of the building next door and the addidion looks like some animal has crawled on top of it.'
