I also added a thread in the "Test" section of this forum a few days ago with a bunch of the cameras that usually have the most interesting pictures. Some of them no longer work, but this way you don't have to search through each camera one at a time.

That site was donated to the City by the 70 Rainey developers as park space to appease the MACC who opposed the 70 Rainey project. It looks like the City is finally turning it into park space.

Unbarlievable is not a loss. Locals that go there are embarrassing.

I am more concerned about the building/atmosphere/texure in the long run than the current population of what ever club occupied it now. Noticed recently an add for a high-rise that only showed small local business in older structures as the "neighborhood attraction". Yet they are mowing it all under. Makes no sense.

I miss vibing on Rainey though. Only times I really go back there are for SXSW events

I’m sorry, but that thing is not a park. And look how the sidewalk jogs around that manhole or whatever is under that cone.

Yea that isn't a park, It is a plaza. A park would mean plantlife. Plazas are needed though, however, hopefully they add in some sort of vegetation. Trying to curb urban desertification, not enhance it...

From what I understood, this is only temporary until they can come up with a final plan.

Ahh yes, what a lovely park. Just the place I'd love to be at around 2pm in August.

Lmao. Oh for real. "art" lolol. Also cracking up because those fking things will be like sitting on a frying pan in the summer. I get that it's somewhat temporary, but even with that I kinda hate it.
