The logo just abandons the theme that the grocery store has for a more contemporary simplification that looks clunky and uninviting. It's a painful logo...though I feel like Loblaws's new store scheme could have a run for Nofrill's money.

Here's the main Loblaws in East York, Toronto...(I don't really know other examples across Canada....this is one of the only ones I ever stepped into)

I bloody hate the interior, even more than the forgettable exterior. It just seems more confusing to shop in.

Loblaws and Superstore are some of the largest, blandest, most confusing stores around. Even worse are these things.

The interiors are confusing and disorganized and the entire thing reminds me of a prison.

There’s also these nightmarish things. Loud cluttered and sad.

Walmart's McDonald's are automatically the ugliest McDonald's. With the ugliest customers and staff, too. Often windowless, with filthy lobbies, and bratty kids. Completely depressing.

I have only been to a Walmart McDonalds once and it was completely horrid. It was windowless as you mentioned and it was completely filthy. Upon wondering why I’m ordering coffee and food from a restaurant with mud and other unidentifiable substances on the floors and walls it was my turn to order. I ordered some hash browns and a coffee and quickly took my seat at my equally filthy table. Needless to say when my order came I asked for a to go bag and quickly got the hell out of there .

Hard to believe that is actually in a fairly central part of the 416.

The only people that should go to a Walmart McDonald's are parents. I am one of those parents. Thankfully, my kids prefer Subway now. While not pretty, they are usually separate.

I learned that the hard way . I went there because I was in such a rush it seemed like a good idea.

Some of the newer Pipers use less green. It's a more fitting tribute to Her Majesty.

That's so depressingly close to our core, by the way. You could almost stand on the roof of that Pipers, shit, and hit a rowhouse with it.

Rouge Condos in Montreal is an abomination.

Bask in its ugly glory. The red stripes just make it.

It becomes painful to look at after a while.

Yes they are. I believe some of them have added kiosks but the decor remains unchanged.

Superstore Tim Hortons restaurants are also really depressing. There’s always barely any seating and the lighting is horrible.

They also look like they were haphazardly shoved onto the exterior, they also barely have any windows (most of them are on the outside entrance) not helping matters much.

I honestly find Rouge Condos to not be that bad actually. At least it's not just grey prefab with lime green like Condos Vue next door...

Condos Vue looks like the developers told the builders to slap some colour onto their bland building to make it look better.

The Medowvale Hilton’s have always looked awful to me. Giant monolithic brick slabs that can be seen from most of Medowvale.

The MacArthur Glen Mall might be one of the fugliest buildings in the entire province of BC.

It’s also bordering the Airport.
