I've never been a fan of that line of thinking. Part of a building's allure is that they make a visual impact. Attempting to make a building 'disappear' has always struck me as something people who actually don't like buildings would contemplate doing. I want a building to make a statement and have weight. Airy? No thank you.

I saw it in person last week when I was taking photos of Aura. There was only one sample installed and it was behind the fence. Not only that, but there were people standing right in front of the slab, so I couldn't get a picture of it.

To get a good idea of what the slab looks like, google - "black marble". I think that'll give you a slight idea. I'll try to grab some photos when there is more installed.

I am getting older, and just started wearing glasses for the first time, and yes we will have to see more curtain wall, but all that glass is looking the same colour to me. Or at least I am not seeing such a big difference YET..
