Which lens have you used? I'm curious about what focal length you need to get an enough detailed view of the moon.

thanks man! that was with the 100-400L at 380mm..

not sure how it got backed off to 380, but at 100% its pretty big.. this is around 70% crop

nope, I just set it to bulb exposure and walked around in three circles with my 480ex flash, popping it every other step and at three different heights.
