I wonder if that screen thing they built is at the final height of the building. It has to be close to it.

I don’t know if the curvature of the crown would work with the current height.

Great photos Urbannizeer and Gillynova. That structure at the top should equate to the remaining five levels of window panes. There should be roughly 6' of height left before this one tops out.

There's a guy hanging out over the edge in one of those forklift baskets. That would scare the crap out of me.

I’ve always been pretty afraid of heights, even observation decks. But spend a few months in one of those and you’ll be hanging off it like a monkey. When I did commercial carpentry/glazing the thing that almost made me shit myself was a man basket rigged to a tower crane. I think I’m getting vertigo just thinking about it.

Thanks for the update pictures. How does this one look in person? Hard to gauge the size in some photos, but it looks shorter than I thought it would. I still love it though.

It stands out and fills up a pretty empty spot in the skyline. I don't think it would look too small if it weren't so close to 6xGuad. It turned out much nicer than I expected.

I agree the crown is making it look more squat than I thought, but Urbannizer’s pic may be misleading since there is still ~15 floors under what can be seen.

It looks a lot shorter than the Austonian when driving north from South Congress. Very good filler though

At least there's a good 6' left of height to go once they put the rim on the top of this thing. Maybe that will be sufficient to make it seem taller. Can't complain though.

Maybe they pixilated the curve to save on cost.

FWIW the angles on the webcam have changed and you can see the completed curve on the opposite side.

Appreciate the photo updates. Cam 52 is pointed at the tower again this morning, so there is a good view of the crown framework.
