I actually really like it when the bridges are up and make a temporary view cap. Not exactly "beautiful," but unique for sure. It's funny, because the first time I actually noticed them doing that was about a decade after I moved here and had worked in the Loop most of that time, lol!
I like these - this is just Google Streetview, which doesn't show them best, but in certain times of day with the right angle I really like them:
St. Clair looking north toward Hancock (and others):
Franklin looking north toward the Mart:
And this one, which has other nice angles, although this angle has the benefit of not seeing the enormous *name* of the capping tower ...
