Its a unique angle to be sure. Also one that promises to improve drastically in the coming years.

The 200m tall National Bank and Victoria condo towers, along with the twin Union 22-storey towers, the second 166m-tall TDC tower and the 145m 1000 de la montagne will add signifiant depth.

Wow, that Edmonton photo looks great with the church and aerial balloon. Love those Vancouver shots which really make the Vancouver Shack project stand out.

Great Vancouver photos.
Stantec and JW add so many new angles to the Edmonton skyline one might not see otherwise.
Thanks for the photos everyone and keep the great shots coming.

Looks like the twins at King and Blue Jays Way are going to poke over the Rogers Centre soon. Nice.

I think Winnipeg might be the most underrated city in Canada. Everytime I tell people w're visiting Winnipeg on Labour Day weekend, the response is always "Winnipeg? Why Winnipeg You like, visiting someone there?" But man, we have a pretty solid list of stuff to do, the place has amazing architecture, lots of history...

A tourist can spend a very nice two or three days in Winnipeg. It will be even better when the art gallery expansion and diversity garden are finished.

I'd argue it's more of a 4-5 day trip these days.

- The Exchange District
- Canadian Mint
- CMHR
- Bombers/Jets/Goldeyes
- Fort Whyte Alive
- Side trip to Steinback and/or Grand Beach
- The Forks
- St. Boniface
- Osborne Village
- Manitoba Legislature

Different people tour differently - my visit would omit sports entertainment, Fort Whyte alive, and the side trip, and add the Manitoba Museum and Winnipeg Art Gallery, plus a performance of the RWB, if the timing was right. To me the only cities in Canada worth 4 or 5 days of "touristing" would be Montreal and Toronto. Of course, it's possible to spend four or five days visiting Winnipeg (or Halifax, Quebec City, Vancouver, etc), but it's not something I'd be likely to do.
