Are those just weeds on the rail tracks or did they actually plant some grass or moss on the tracks?

There are a few left (probably 20% of the total parking lots we had 25 years ago), but they are quickly being replaced with new projects.

Compared to what you see in most NA cities, they also tend to be fairly small in size. It's surprising to see a few among historic buildings in the old town for example, but I suppose it's not that simple to put together a project there that respects heritage standards while at the same time being commercially viable.
