Waterfront Skyline drastically Altered by Southcore Development

The sobering thought is that One Yonge is 30% taller than the tallest ICE Condo and just as close to the lake. If it gets built, it will tower over everything except the CN Tower. I'm still waiting for our first building in the 400-450m range though. In my eyes, the skyline won't come together fully till that happens.

I can be just as subjective. Watch!!
In my eyes, the skyline won't be complete until the entire Golden Horseshoe around Lake Ontario is filled with towers all taller than the CN Tower.
To hell with real estate markets; just build it!!


On a serious note, we are now living in the 'old' times of the "old" Central Business District being visible from the islands. There will come a time when people will see pictures of the former skyline and be amazed that Torontonians used to be able to see First Canadian Place and Scotia Plaza.

I'm hoping 30% of One Yonge's height will be reduced.
