It was a wet and windy Halloween.

7C and overcast. Rain stopped but clouds are dominating. November is usually our most overcast month so no surprise there.

Low of 6C this morning. No daily variation because of the cloud cover.

The warmspot was Val Marie, SK at 21.2C.

Warmest low was Sable Island, NS at 11.4C

November is here. Daily highs below 10C are becoming the norm. Long range shows there is the possibility of some overnight flurries on Friday. Winter is coming.

Sunshine Village and Lake Louise have both opened early for skiing. Marmot Basin in Jasper will open in a week.

Still unseasonably warm in Edmonton. Some snow flurries are forecast for Friday but temps are back up to +14 on Monday. I was cleaning the pond and some of the flower beds and noticed I still have some plants blooming. Some of the pond plans were also still green.

St John's could fall tonight, and Montreal will very likely fall Thursday with a forecast low of -3.

Looks like the usual suspects in BC will hold the title.

Today in Toronto: Around seasonal or slightly above at 11 degrees. But not a pleasant day. Blustery and damp. Tomorrow looks nice with a high of 14 and sunshine.

TWN is predicting a short blast of almost winter like weather next Monday; forecast high of 3 with some snow overnight possible. But back to seasonal or a bit above afterwards.
