I don't think there's any way that dude is on his knees. It's just high grass/hedge. He's much too high compared to the top of that car to be on his knees.

I know, he's actually standing in some bushes between the sidewalk and curb. It just made a funny optical illusion.

Here's a well done drone video. It has great great downtown views in the beginning and a nice boardwalk view at around 1:15:

Does anyone have photos from the parking lot next to Frank downtown? I was there last night and noticed how awesome that lot is. You're surrounded on all sides. Frost is majestic from that vantage point. The Colorado tower is nice as well. You have views of almost every major tower from that spot.

The Frost Bank Building makes a cameo on the new Foo Fighters album to be released next month.

I fancy it very much! Apparently, they recorded in 8 cities and each city is represented on the cover.

Not from Franks, but check out my photo thread here. I took some of these from the roof of the Starr Building. It's on the block north of the Franks place so the views are mostly the same. There's also some pics from the east end of that lot closer to Congress.

I'll have to remember to run over there again and snap a few. There's a few pics I've been meaning to get lately.

I cannot condone the photographs of this user. He is engaging in illegal and incredibly unsafe activity, and if he posts again I will seriously consider reporting the user to the police so that they can take appropriate action for his own, and for others' who are on the street level, safety.

Please consider that you not only put yourself at risk, but you put at risk every single person who passes beneath you on the street level. Should you drop your camera because you are not wearing proper safety harnesses and are not trained in proper construction safety procedures and it falls on an innocent victim, or should you yourself plummet to your death and when reaching your ultimate demise land on some poor soul, you will have only yourself to blame.

I'm going to agree and suggest banning pictures obtained this way from this forum. I think its dangerous and encourages more daredevil photography, at least from him/her. If someone gets hurt, are we going to say, but the pics were fantastic, worth the risk!? Let the photographer showcase his work someplace else. We don't need his reckless adventures on our forum. And don't think the risks won't become greater the more we encourage the effort by complimenting the results. Heck Kevin, you can't posts the pictures from other people without proper acknowledgement, why let someone post pictures obtained illegally, and recklessly? I'll say it again, we should not encourage daredevil photography here.

Well it looks to me like most of the places they're walking on were meant to be walked on or at least accessed for maintenance. So do it at your own risk if you wish, but please don't do any cartwheels. By the way, there's nothing keeping anyone from dropping a full can of beer off of a balcony or falling off their balcony after having too much beer, so there's all kinds of risks with highrises. I've been up on enough of them outside to know how windy it can be, and I really gotta wonder how patio furniture doesn't just blow off. I'd seriously consider tying stuff down.

Sure, but a finished highrise and and under construction highrise have completely different levels of safety risk. This person could knock over highly expensive and perhaps dangerous construction equipment.

Reckless? Not quite. Worth it? Absolutely!
Kids don't try it at home.
