Another fast turnaround… the concrete for the previous floor was still drying on Monday.

After the quick turnaround pouring the latest floor on Friday, walls and super-columns were poured yesterday (Monday).

BloorMan

The Rail Climbing System (RCS) used for cladding installation is moving up more quickly as the third hanger section appears.

Nice shot of HPA’s 1 Bloor East with The One on the left.

Very quick work forming up the next floor after Monday’s pour (columns and walls).

Yet another Friday floor pour… receivership obviously agrees with the project lol (someone’s cracking the construction whip ;-)

Halfway up?

Just shy of halfway to the top (45 storeys), so double the height of this view up Yonge Street.

They were already pouring walls last Friday after Wednesday’s floor pour and now forming the next floor. Fast work.

It's nice to see progress on this appears to have resumed. The more of it that has the exterior cladding applied, the better it looks. To me, it has kind of a hybrid of Mid-Century Modern and current design aesthetic. Almost like something you would see in places like NYC or Chicago...

I agree. A shift away from your classic thinner « light blue » glass hues.

This may be one of a rare number of times that the actual product will be better than the rendering.

Pouring super-columns today… these folks are still motoring. When I look at the shot below, hard to imagine this is only halfway up.

I really like the last photo, you'd think the color of the glass was black. Toronto can make a name for itself internationally with projects like this. Hopefully Toronto will get more towers over 300 meters high.

A modern city and a modern skyline.

Well, two, unless you count Concord Sky, which is either 299m or 300.6m, depending on where you measure it.
The Forma tower currently UC is not the supertall. The second supertall at One Yonge might get underway soon. And the Sugar Wharf Phase 2 twins are just a metre under supertall status.

Loving those crisp curtainwall-corners in this shot. This will be a stunner when fully clad @ 91 storeys.

Sam Mizrahi still smiling a while back... despite everything when this hit the halfway mark. Keep smilin' Sam.

I took these yesterday as I passed through. It's certainly looking more striking as the cladding goes up. From Bay and Bloor, it's presence is really becoming known

UrbanToronto contributor Benito has documented the saga/progress here with hundreds and hundreds of photos (dating back to the site prep days).

Here’s the view from his neighbouring balcony about 15 months ago (on my birthday… thanks Benito ;-).

Manulife Centre is 544 ft for comparison

So it looks like we're around 600 ft maybe?
