Reading about the Canadian Open in another thread, I harkened back to my younger years and recalled that the Open always seemed to be at the wrong time of the year (never during the nice summer days) or so it seemed. It always seemed to be raining and a nobody would win it.
So I see an interesting story title of legendary caddie injured at the Open. I come to find out it was raining and a first time tour winner won it. As for the caddie he was an old guy who fell and was replaced by a fat guy out of the stands. I guess fans can become caddies.
