By my unscientific calculation, the temple is only 8 feet tall! That's disappointing.

EcoCenter a feat of environmental ingenuity -

http://www.parkrecord.com/todaysheadlines/ci_11149239

Views from the new tower at the soon-to-be-unveiled Swaner EcoCenter dumbfound even nature preserve officials...

Architect Soren Simonsen explains how the new Swaner EcoCenter at Kimball Junction fits with the environment. Photo by David Ryder

...The Swaner EcoCenter, which consists of roughly 1,200 acres that saddle Interstate 80, will unveil its new learning facility Sunday near the northwestern edge of the preserve. The 10,000-square-foot building, with its interactive exhibits, is certified platinum, the highest ranking from Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, a group which ranks buildings based on their green architectural features.

This new hotel (Newpark) is a favorite design of mine. I like the way it fits into the Park City environment, especially the materials used and their placement.

Oops. I just realized I posted this in the wrong thread.

Chadders is opening up a new location. This time in West Valley City, on 5600 West and about 2800 South. Possibly a new In-n-Out scoping location???

Tooele, Wasatch among U.S. growth leaders

http://www.sltrib.com/ci_11171304

Washington and Utah counties aren't the only Beehive State locales that rate a top-10 listing when it comes to population growth nationwide...

...Wasatch ranks seventh and Tooele ninth in growth since 2000, according to an American Community Survey report released Monday night.

The new survey combines three years of responses from residents of communities with 20,000 to 65,000 people...

Is that still the thought, that In-N-Out is using the name "Chadders" with a knockk-off brand/food to scope out possible locations?

Oh, I do wish that were the case!

Didn't In-N-Out sue Chadders?
It seems unlikely that In-N-Out would make up a company as a front to scout out new locations and then sue it.

Chadders is most definitely not an in n out front. That said, be of good cheer in n out fans. They are coming to Northern Utah and soon.

Good to hear - both that Chadders isn't an In-N-Out front.

And that they are coming to Northern Utah soon. I would assume that means that there would be a Northern Utah distribution center planned as their stores all use fresh products created at the distribution centers and shipped daily.

From what I have heard, the distribution center is in Vegas. That's close enough to Northern Utah for In n Out's purposes.

Small project update

WCF Headquarters Project in Sandy Update

Here is a update on the WFC project in Sandy just off of State Street and around 9800 South. Crews right now are working on what looks like under ground parking for what will soon be a 7-story Office building and maybe a 10-story office building later on. ( Two buildings over all )

I am yet to find a rendering of this project. Can't seem to find one anywhere.
