great photo of Montréal - really shows the difference between a city of 1.5 million vs over 4 million.

That angle of the skyline is going to look awesome when the NBC Headquarters and Victoria sur le Park are completed.

That pic of Montreal from The Big O is the best I`ve ever seen and shows just how massive the Montreal skyline is.

The more I think about it the more I understand just how much of an impact those 2 200m towers will have from pretty much every angle.

Perhaps the only view where the impact won't be signifant will be from the mountain.

Whenever I find myself in the peg again I definitely will take a rip around and see these gorgeous buildings.

Think many NA cities would buy this (if installed).

Not a skyline of the city, but a pretty great cluster in a neighbourhood north of the core - Bloor/Yorkville (without Canada's new tallest now u/c):

Thx to Razz for the great shot.

Love the Yorkville skyline. All it's missing is 4-5 office towers in the 250-350m range, preferably not blue/green glass.

Only 4-5 250m towers? The same number as the 50 year old financial core? Easy peasy.

It would need at least that to balance out the residential. The number of buildings proposed in Toronto is higher than the number built so we have the potential to double what we have over the near to medium term.

Adding 4-5 large office buildings? We have 6 office buildings under construction/proposed over 239m or taller right now. Unless Toronto's boom comes to an abrupt stop 4-5 250m+ isn't much of a stretch. Whether they go in the northern end of downtown is another matter. For planners that favour mixed use neighbourhoods and encourage 'live where you work' they could do more to encourage office throughout the core. Yorkville would be a great spot for more office.
