You crazy... that beautiful urban fabric in the foreground more than makes up for any skyline.

I think it's a gorgeous shot by itself, regardless of how it makes the skyline looks "small". If it's the worst pic you have ever seen of Montreal ever, I don't know what to say...

in the sense that it does no justice whatsoever to the skyline of Montreal, it is. skyline aside it's a nice shot though. Just unflattering "skyline" shot is all.. and I happen to think Montreal has a great skyline.

Everyone's been killing it with the skyline pics posted here lately. Real eye candy.

It's actually pretty incredible to think that almost every major city is building a new tallest:

Calgary- Brookfield
Edmonton-Stantec
Saskatoon-Nutrien
Winnipeg-300 Main
Toronto - The One

Isn't Halifax's Fenwick Tower also getting a refit currently that will bring it over 100 meters?

Also, here's some fuzzy Calgary I shot today.

Is that Brentwood? You really got to label these generic skylines.

Edmonton.

That red "ATCO" building is what gives it away for me.

It's kind of hard to tell how this will turn out - I haven't seen any of the latest renderings other than that last photo, which makes it look a lot like the newer buildings going up at Dal (Fenwick is sort of in that area but isn't on campus). Right now it kind of reminds me of something out of Hamilton. It'll also be interesting to see how the revamped building addressed street level, right now it's pretty awful and part of the reason the building's always clashed with its surroundings so badly.

There's also a tower planned at King's Wharf that would be the Halifax area's new tallest, although construction hasn't started yet.

I've always thought of Dartmouth as more of an Oakland.
