Crescent Midtown

Updating to this thread...

I cannot find any renderings, but found Crescent Midtown permits and plan reviews filed (actually were filed quite some time ago) for a 5 to 6 floor multi-use residential with ground floor retail on 3rd St between Earl and Cherry Lynn. At 335 units, this will be pretty similar in size to Crescent Highland. The alleyway will be abandoned and the complex will have a podium garage.

Great to see this development hitting 3rd St. This area needs to be activated (I wonder if China Chili could potentially get a retail spot?). I'll try posting some of the permits when I get a chance or a rendering if I come across one.

The onslaught of multi-family continues...

Does anyone have any updated information or pictures of the Block 23 site for the Frys Mixed Use? I haven't been down there in a long time and have yet to see any progress.

And more residential getting ready to move in Midtown.

Saw a bulldozer flattening the dirt lot at NE lot at Central and Columbus on Friday. Permits have been filed with the City of Phoenix for a 5/6 floor residential complex. Not much info though on # of units or who's building it.

Like the Crescent project above, I can't find renderings or a site plan yet. I will post more if I find out anything further or if anyone else has anything to add, please do. Glad to see these filling up the spots between the high-rises and creating more density.

I posted something about this last November when it came before the Encanto Village Planning Committee. Here again is the staff report:

BREWAZ (Business Real Estate Weekly) posted a subscribers-only story on Crescent, but check out this rendering; apparently, it will be named "The Earll, a Crescent Community."

They also just posted another subscribers-only story with this rendering:

The headline states Central Avenue, and the rendering shows '1103' on the building. Is that Central and Columbus?

1103, if a reference to an address, would place it at Portland.

You're looking at two different sites.

anyone with access to BrewAZ? 1103 N Central Ave puts it at the AIDS Clinic on Central/Portland (like biggus said) or 1103 S Central Ave puts it at Central/Buckeye. Not sure what to make of this...

Crescent rendering looks great and different from all the proposed developments on Central

I envision the area around the Country Club becoming mainly mid-century looking architecture over the years.

I wouldn't read too much into things like address numbers. Could just as well be a placeholder or something they recycled from somewhere else.

Thanks dtnphx!

We actually wanted info on the other article named "Fore Property Venture to Develop 223-unit Multi-Family Project on Central Ave"
