It's strange to me that the Cobalt already has a website, advertising, and a sign up page, while this has nothing. No name, no website, no move in date.

Money laundering?

Perhaps one might be careful as to what is said, even in open public forums.

If the mob is looking at skycraper forum, I feel more sorry for how sad their life is than I worry about any danger lmao

Probably but Darko's a big boy: he navigated the dissolution of the former Yugoslavia and all the chaos that ensued; run highly suspect gentlemen's establishments in a foreign country; and now he's morphed into a real estate tycoon.

He's one tough SOB. An off-the-cuff insinuation ain't gonna do him any harm - he's made of Kevlar.

Wow..I'm sure you're right. I had no idea of that. Interesting to learn, and well put to understand.

Wonder if they will light this element up?

My sentiments as well - the fact this is still untagged is nothing short of miraculous..

then again, there is a loose taggers code to only tag buildings that are condemned in some way..

There's got to be something sketchy going on here. This has been sitting for months, with barely any work being done, and there's no website, no name, no advertising, nothing...

I agree with other posters questioning the slowness of this site. At this point they should really be done. However I will note they seem to always have some workers on site on Saturdays which is when I took these photos. You can easily tell because they're often down on George Street moving materials and both construction elevators are moving and being used.

Still think it's pretty sharp looking - makes the colours of the buildings beside it look bleak as hell though lol.. hope they build more of these kinds.

Is there like a stop work order on this building, nothing has changed?

Most certainly not. I drove by earlier this week and it was a hive of activity.

I'm sure the interior will take a while to complete?

They are very busy in there. From what I understand/heard is Darko had all the kitchen cabinets made in Eastern Europe and upon delivery discovered that they were made to fit European appliances. Chaos ensued.

When I was driving on King this morning I noticed they finally started installing interior light fixtures. It appeared that about 5 floors has interior ceiling light fixture.

Yes, pretty well all of the cabinets throughout the building, but most of them are being modified, not replaced. They're well on their way through the process and should be finished by spring.

They have removed the construction elevator from the building.
