Based on what I saw on Wednesday with the elevator coming down. I'd say we are probably 3-4 weeks away from walkthroughs and 6-8 weeks from moving in, depending on whether city inspectors have been certifying the units as they are finished, or if they will certify them after the walkthroughs. I don't think the lobby necessarily has to be done before we can inspect our units, though it would be nice to see the whole thing as we would when we walk in every day.

I've been saying it for about 10 pages now, I would put highest probability on inspections during November and move ins starting December. Not sure why nobody is listening to me but *shrug* you can keep calling Concord every day and get the same evasive answer, or just be patient and get prepared for November/December.

Up until last week I was also expecting December, but when the construction elevator came down 3 weeks sooner than I was expecting it to, it gave me reason for optimism, I guess we shall see in the coming weeks. I've given up on calling Concord, they probably wouldn't tell you what day of the week it is if you asked.

So you think it's ok for a developer not to give information out in time so people can make decisions regarding selling a house, giving notice to a landlord, making travel plans, etc, etc. For them to say they didn't know about the delay well before issuing that last amendment is insulting.
As I've said many times, it's not the delay, it's that lack of timely notification.

As I've said many times, it's not the delay, it's that lack of timely notification.

I certainly don't think it is alright not giving accurate information to facilitate buyers' planning (etc etc as you said). My real meaning is that these information keep changing as and when project evolves everyday, and at any one point, some previously accurate information may become not true or even misleading. In this sense, it would be much better not to release information until all dusts are settled and become crystal clear. As one of the buyers, I truly am as anxious as is everyone.

I see Concord certainly has room to improve its communication planning and pack to make buyers feel more comfortable and be more well informed but I rather them to release information at one-go and not at and when people ask.

You must have been there about the same time as me today. I saw a lot of the landscaping is done at the back of the building. I take that as a positive sign.

Wow! They have made significant progress on the lobby in the past week, hopefully they can get those balconies done or at least mostly done next week! The fencing around the trees is gone too!

Walked by today. Window cleaners in action, more landscaping, children's playground in place.....Dare we hope for Oct. walk through? Still a lot of work to finish south east balconies and driveway off 100th street. But........

We are on the 40th and still no email re walk through. Is there a date for everyone who has heard?

Are some people getting these by mail and others by email? I specifically told Concord I wanted everything sent by email and they have yet to send me anything, other than one document and advertisements for other projects... It's kind of annoying.

Also inspection times depend on the project, I had one friend who was given several times and dates, and another who was basically told when his inspection would be, and if he couldn't make it... Too bad. I would imagine with a project this size they will probably have a 2-3 week window we can pick from, but popular times like evenings and weekends will probably be taken first.
