is this for real or are you just saying because of the way things are going? Westport is the project with the one high rise in it right? (will that one be the new highest in the city i forget the height of it?)

Legg Mason only fill half of the Legg Mason building.

So when they move out, the building owners just have to find a good tennant to take the other half (upper half) of the building.

I don't know if that update on 10IH is accurate. We should hear something soon... of course, for a year we have been saying that....

The overall market and economy is bad, but is showing the earliest signs of recovery. I think that more good things will start to happen again this summer so we still have time to wait.

Keep up with the posts guys!!!

Im just saying that because of the way things are going. But I do think Westport has higher chances of actually getting things done as of now.Westport does have the one office tower of 65 floors and it will be an office building.Total height of that tower will be 845 ft+,hopefully.

It seems like all the Sheila Dixon stories were true. She really is backing up Turner Development.I sent an e-mail to the Turner Development Group and this is what I got back in return.Although,I'm NOT sure BUT I pray that it includes the 65-story office building.

The project is fully approved and demo and construction has begun. We will have a ground breaking party in the summer. The web page should be up in 4 months and will contain regular updates. Thank you for your interest.

How are you guys doing today?I would just like to make a couple of quick questions concerning Westport.First off, do you think the Westport Project will be approved? If so, when should groundbreaking begin?About the 65 story skyscraper, how tall should the final result be?I'm very glad that the Turner Development Group is taking their time to revitalize run-down neighborhoods and turning them into great projects!I really hope that Sheila Dixon will keep supporting the Turner Development group with the Westport project and I wish you all good luck in bringing the Westport project to reality!Thank You for your time and I hope you enjoyed reading my letter.I Hope to hear from you soon and Have a Great Day!

10 IH will get going sometime. That is my favorite one.

Any news on 300 East Pratt? When that is supposed to start?

On a different note, the Hilton is almost done. With that and the Zenith although not too tall, that area of the city definately feels a lot taller

Here is UrbanAmerica's e-maill address : jmonge@urbanamerica.com
Jeff Monge is very nice. If you'd like, give him an e-mail asking about the progression of the 300 east pratt street project. When new 300 east pratt street website will be up.... When new renderings and stats will be released... Time table of it's ground-breaking.... if it will have a nice sleek design.... a nice crown....

Things like that. I have e-mailed him too much in the past months. I think if he got some from other people he may be more open to releasing more detailed information on it.
And, good luck.
