901 Day St. is a site that Transcona city councilor Russ Wyatt has been trying to get developed by somebody since around 2012.

For many years it was an empty building, then incomplete foundation hole in the ground and lastly empty lot waiting for development.

In 2019 there was an approved development for that site that never started.

No that's 51 Roslyn Road, basically across the street. This lot is the former Falls House, which was demolished about two years ago.

Nice. Verne is a good designer.

OV is booming. Hopefully it will transfer to greater success of the high street at some point.

Grapevine listening has told me there is another major re-clad coming to a significant building downtown. The source is as good as it gets.

I still wish this or similar can get built @ 416 main. 46 years empty, crying out for development. MISSING TEETH on MAIN ST. Just like from Graham to Broadway.... If W or Westin finally did go for it, Sutton would likely never get built. Between Hyatt Centric and possibly Hilton Garden, there is only so much room for biz I would imagine.

It's such a glaring spot when driving through downtown. It just screams for a tower.

My understanding was it is supposed to be some sort of conference centre/meeting space.
