Peppermill and Atlantis are both off South Virginia St., which is sort of their version of the Las Vegas Strip, so they don't seem as completely out of character as the Nugget and the Sierra Grand do, at least to me.

https://www.google.com/maps/@39.5348...7i13312!8i6656) is the heart of downtown Sparks. Sure, it's not that much, although it's nice during Farmer's Markets or the Rib Festival.
But yeah, I obviously haven't lived in Reno in 15 years (although I've been back to visit my parents fairly regularly).
