Agreed probably with lawyers with many liens to be sorted

It's Ottawa. How many of our 400+ highrise buildings have curved concrete forms? 7 maybe 8?

I drove by here today after spending my morning shop vacuuming up rugs from an angry backflow situation.

I also got to drive by the super awesome "TAKE TRANSIT" signs on the 417.

I hope this building restarts? Seems to still be on pause but I was actually trying to pay attention to the road. Show me some nice concrete finish which I am not currently seeing and I'll be happy.

This city is dicked.

You may have noticed that construction on the two buildings on Baseline Road, at Clyde, stalled for a number of months.
The original owners walked away from this project and the mall owner, Smart Centre has taken the project on and will recommence construction in September.

It is September and still no construction activity, could something be holding them back from starting construction?

I think I see a worker in the second picture and the crane has moved (might just do that for maintenance though) but it is a promising sign after a long delay.

I believe tower cranes can pivot freely in the wind when not in use. Like a rooster on a barn. Saves it from blowing over.

You might be right, depends if the brake was on or not. On a site like this with two cranes, one might and the other might not.

I'm fairly confident that I see a worker though, second floor to the right of the crane. That's possibly the bigger news anyways.

They're back in business. Today one crane was in action and they were pumping concrete:

Can confirm that the crane moved due to winds.

Source: I watched it move while tagging one at st-Louise

They are pouring 12 on each tower now. Good to see these so close to topping out finally.

I like this one. Great design for the location and unique among Ottawa's projects (new or old).
