This is from an editorial about mental health and how employers (and government) need to support people who are experiencing issues.

But for the photo, it's a view that's changing and about to change a whole lot more in the coming years.

I took these on a beautiful evening in the summer from the shoreline trail at LaSalle Park. Used a mobile phone and it was near dusk and the camera didn't handle the lighting or long-distance focus very well (I keep putting off that camera purchase I've been thinking about for a long time )

Will go back again once more towers are up. Hopefully with a better camera.

Lots of change, though despite Cobalt and 154 Main E ("Walnut Place") the eastern flank of downtown is still pretty sparse from that angle. The Design District and other towers planned in that vicinity will certainly change that!

At least 6 new buildings on the skyline in the past few years. Love to see it.

If those were taken from a drone, he is flying WAY above the legally allowed altitude. That looks like probably 3000 - 4000ft, max allowed height is 400. Some of those pictures, like the one above Westdale might even be 5000ft.

I'd love to see a before shot of that same view for comparison. I can imagine the it without the new buildings, but it's not the same as a real picture.

HMCS Harry DeWolf was in Hamilton this week as part of a marine careers expo tour up the St. Lawrence Seaway and as far as Windsor.

She was moored next to the HMCS Haida, which was commanded by DeWolf during WWII and is now a historic site and museum ship, and also the ceremonial flagship of the navy.

A few pics include the city skyline and that of its industrial waterfront.

Similar shots in this video that was posted in the Canada section by our friend Wigs, from this past July (supposedly the operator knows how to get clearance, so I assume the flight was given the "ok")
