One of the most dismal locations in Richmond.

Yeah, but the intersection of No. 3 Rd. and Sea Island Way has 3 proposed projects - NW, SW and SE corners.
NW and SW have preload.

Nothing will change the jets screaming overhead. At least until Richmond sinks into the sea and they have to relocate our international gateway to Abbotsford.

With equally dismal design and material choices.

What’s wrong with jets “screaming” overhead. It’s a flight path for an airport. You sound ridiculous

I thought the design for the wall centre across the street was actually quite nice.

The urban environment of Richmond puts any suburb of Edmonton, and most parts of Edmonton city proper to shame.

The hotel was a high quality build. Any time a building is built with a steel frame in the lower mainland (hardly ever for some strange reason ) you know it will turn out well

I like the massing of the complex.
Office cladding is pretty drab (but similar to SOLO District's office block)
I also expect the parking garage to look better than RiverSky (low bar, I know).

With the technology we have now, or in the foreseeable future, electric airplanes can probably fly 5 minutes and then return for a couple days of recharging.

But yeah, would be sweet to see silent planes in the future.
