There has been quite a bit of soil testing activity on and around the Alldritt 280m/80 storey proposal...

Really nice design, imo. Any updates or is this one likely dead?

Work on this tower (Alldritt Tower) is still going ahead, they are keeping the height but widening the tower to prevent it from swaying in the wind.

This is a massing of what could be the latest design for the tower.

Call me crazy, but I do hope that this gets built.

Not sold on that new design yet, but I'm glad to hear the height is retained and that it's still progressing!

I'd be ecstatic if this got built but I just can't see it happening.

Edmonton | Quarters Hotel & Residences | 280m | 7X+ FLOORS

New renderings are out for a very perplexing proposal on the east side of Downtown Edmonton.

There are MANY opinions, predictions and folks suggesting that this will 'never' be built, but here we are.

Perched on the top of bank, this would be quite spectacular and an oddity at the same time.

I am not convinced the market would support this and have heard that the foundation/structure would be upwards of 30% of the overall project costs which with my quick math seems to say this isn't going anywhere, anytime soon.
