Crane was removed on Monday. Also looks like the staging area is being adjusted so Isleville will be two-way again.

Any more details on the hotel for this one and a sense of opening dates? Further to the earlier discussion about weird locations for hotels, I’m actually looking to book rooms for guests later this year and it would be ideal to avoid downtown but still have them on the peninsula.

I'm seeing advertisements for this one leasing as apartment rentals. Is this another case of getting approved as a hotel, then making the last minute switch to apartments? Os it going to be mixed use?

According to the permits this was quietly changed to a 72-unit residential building back in April 2024.

Do you have the rentals ads? I can't find any.

Interesting... it has no balconies, which I find odd for a new residential building - most of the newer ones in this area have some exterior space. The only one nearby I can think of that does not is the building across from the Warehouse Markety/Espresso 46 that has the vet on the ground floor.

Sorry for the late reply (and the Facebook link), but here's one that I saw

I'll get some good daytime photos soon but for now this looks like it is now occupied.

28Eleven.ca

They've also removed the retail unit(s) that were planned for the ground floor. They look like good candidates for future conversion.

Probably a wise move considering how slowly the commercial ground level commercial space just up the street has been leased.

Yup. Lots of For Lease signs in this area, along Agricola, Gottingen. Need more people to support all these potential businesses.

An acquaintance of mine looked into renting a storefront in the area. (Don’t know which building) prices were insane. She was saying she could go just off spring garden for about 5% more. This may be why very few are being leased.

Agreed. It's nothing special, but it fits in nicely with the neighbourhood. Only thing is I wish they used the opportunity to install some trees as well. I guess the poles might pose problems but it'd be nice if the City used the new developments as ways to sneak in more trees around.

Reminds me of the grandson of the old Centennial Building downtown.
