I remember being impressed with the developments along that corridor of Dubai when I was last there, as well as the Marina district. It has changed completely since, and would be cool to go back there again someday (though my wife doesn't share interest in going there).

The photo doesn’t clearly show it but the builder has been having problems with water seeping through the exterior walls. They have been pumping water out of the site 24 hours a day since the spring. A couple of weeks ago I noticed that they started to install large vinyl tarps over the walls, which you can see in the image, presumably to waterproof the foundations. I suppose the engineers are confident that this will keep water from leaking into the garage in the future. The site at 335 Roosevelt is having similar problems. I don’t remember water being such a problem for the other towers under construction on Scott street.

We've seen the water as well. We're used to it in the neighbourhood now. I proposed a boat on a rope to ferry people through the underpass at Churchill but they may have finally got that under control.

As for the tarps, I thought they were there to stop the dangerous ice from forming that led to inquiry happening now about the death over in Little Italy.

I wonder if that tarp will be a very good fix long term, I doubt it. It's good to see this site under construction and a decent height for being so close to rapid transit.

I'm excited for this one. It extends the skyline to the end of Scott street and has some interesting details, Its an elevated design compared to what we seen in recent years for Scott street. I like the podium and the wave detail on the tower facade. Material quality will be key.

Glad to see this one is active again. Seems it was just a hole for about 2 years. I wonder if selling their Richmond/Woodroffe building to Brigil is what provided them enough funds to get this going again.

Agreed. This one looks like it will break the mold of the usual and run some defense on 1976 Scott st. for us.

I think the podium is going to be key in trying to turn Scott into a usable and walkable street that is a pleasant user experience.

This one was slow going, but glad to see it gain some momentum. Should be a good addition to the Westboro skyline.

This, with the two buildings down the way on Wilmont will really fill it out nicely.

Pouring 4th floor now. Y’a a bit slower. 1 story per two weeks compared to your typical 1 to 1.
