The cladding looks half decent.
Thanks for the update.

They jumped the crane on this in the last few days as well. It's now clearly visible from my office. Need a clear day to get a shot, though.

Thanks for the update, lots of progress there, cladding looks ok enough.

Just about anything is better than the Brooklyner so it's nice to know it won't be tallest much longer.

I posted this pic in 29 Flatbush but thought it deserved a spot here. Took this today while going to work.

Not bad. I hope something is done on the blank wall side.

^Looks to be at about 30ish floors in those. I don't like the blank walls but at least they don't go all the way up.

Does anyone have any updated panoramic pics of Brooklyn's skyline, say from the Smith & Ninth St. Station?

Although it is a decent tower, there is something not quite right with it. I think the facade is not entirely high quality sadly and the concrete wall is a turn off. I hope that Brooklyn will get some non-boxy towers of higher quality soon enough, after the current wave of towers paves the way for the increased desirability of DT BK as a place to live.

Yes as well as being the largest the borough has ever seen. Bigger developers will probably see this and wouldn't mind designing for Brooklyn, if the heights permits! Aesthetically speaking newer building will only get better, so the future is very bright!

This is an older photo I wanted to share from about 3 weeks ago. It has 1WTC in it and the sky was clear!

Update from today, March 16, 2013

Same view as the above photo but you can see the height now... And 1WTC makes another cameo.

Is there any way to track building height? It'd be cool to a pic from this perspective when this reaches 512'.
