Looks like Yorkville Condominiums in nearing construction. Report at UT is that the sales centre is currently being demolished. Additionally the tower has increased in height from 28 to 31 storeys, which should bring it to well over 100 metres.

This site is being demolished at Humber Bay right beside the Monarch Sales Centre, is this where Lago is going?

To me (and in my opinion) - INDX condos looks very similar almost identical to the Canada Tower proposal.

Need some more topside renderings to confirm my suspicions.

I actually kind of like the motel. Has a 1960's suburban east coast vibe going on, especially with the surrounding mature growth.

While I'm loving the crown on King Charlotte the undulating balconies on 1000 Bay are equally as unimpressive to me as when I first saw them in their trendy infancy in design renders two years ago.

I would take a city of Brad Lamb proposals. They all look unique and they all compliment their surroundings well, high-rise, mid-rise, and lo-rise.

This is one of my favorites.

I hope to see a rendering showing the roof. I would like it to have some kind of feature on it instead of a flat roof. This building needs something on top to make it interesting.

Jared Menkes from Menkes Developments mentions launching a "sexy tower and great design" in the District in the next couple months. Also hints that their 1 York Street/90 Harbour Street is on the horizon, possibly even this later on this year.

From BuzzBuzzHome Blog article: http://blog.buzzbuzzhome.com/2012/02...interview.html

Quote:
Fabrik is our newest project, but after that we’re going to have another one in the next couple months in the Entertainment District. It’s going to be quite a sexy tower and a great design. After that we have a much-talked about Harbour Street development right across from the Air Canada Centre. Stay tuned for that!
The Entertainment District project should be this proposal:

81 Peter Street, 49 Storeys, 546 residential units.
